UNITY of Greater New Orleans, a progressive, award-winning 18-year-old nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness in New Orleans, has 2 immediate openings:  

SUPPORTIVE HOUSING CASE MANAGER (FT). Assist formerly homeless tenants w/mental or physical disabilities to access community services and reach their full potential. Requirements: At least 1 yr. successful case management exp. with special needs populations; familiarity with Housing First principles preferred.  

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR/WAREHOUSE MANAGER (17.5 HRS/WK). Recruit, collect and distribute donations of household goods & furniture in order to assist homeless people to become re-housed. Requirements: Organized, enthusiastic self-starter; ability to recruit & supervise volunteers; ability to assist in moving items.
